EGG FUN

I felt like we celebrated Easter all month long...

because we did,and I loved every moment of it. Easter is one of my favorites,

always has been.

Easter Hunt at Grandma and Grandpa Lowes:

Ever since I was little I remember having a big easter egg hunt on Sunday after church. I love that now my children are taking part in the hunt with all of their cousins. Bayes just sat on the grass, eating grass and watching the kids and animals. Braddock got into it loading up on more than enough eggs.

Easter Hunt at Riverwoods

Riverwoods put on an easter egg hunt a few weeks before Easter. There wasn't a lot of people so Braddock got too many eggs and took his time doing so. Bayes' favorite was digging the dirt out of the cracks of the bricks.

Decorating Eggs

Braddock loves to dye eggs. So do Scott and I, so we did it twice.

Braddock just wanted to carry them around all night. He didn't understand why he had to

put them in the fridge.

We love EASTER.

Everyday Moments:

If Bayes throws herself down 8 times today in a fit of rage it is a normal day. (18 months)

Bayes started nursery, thank goodness. (18 months)

Braddock had his first talk in primary and his first primary program this last month. He is amazing at memorizing so he had both parts done after a few runs at it. We had to help him when he got up to do is talk but he flew solo during the primary program which made us proud. I can't believe how big he is. (age 4)

Braddock really had to go the bathroom on the way home from preschool. I told him that we were almost home and he would have to wait. He was silent for a moment and then asked, "Is it ok to toot in the car?" I told him that would be ok. (age 4)

Just jokingly I told Bayes to go get the Book of Mormon from the drawer because I was too lazy to get it. Next thing I know she crawls over, opens the drawer, and gets the Book of Mormon. They know more than we give them credit for.

Braddock has won both the coloring contest that he has entered. Maybe he is the only 3 year old that enters? (age 3)

Bayes had to have surgery and get tubes placed in her ears.

(12 months)

Bayes got her ears pierced. (12 months)

Braddock cried yesterday when he saw that it snowed on our

flowers. He must get that from his mom, because I felt like crying. (age 3)

Uncle Mel came over today with his dog to visit mom and dad. Whenever the dog moved, Bayes would shake and start screaming. She was so scared. (age 10 months)

"I really had a fun day with you today." (Braddock age 3)

Bayes finally decided that she would start crawling forward. (age 10 months)

Braddock came in our room in the middle of the night last night and said, "I think there is poop in my pants." I don't know how he slept through that one? (age 3)

Every time we get Bayes out of bed, she leans over us to see her rocking horse. We go over and say hi and pet the horse, and than we can leave her room. (Bayes 9 months)

"I really want to go the the temple when I grow up"

I told Braddock that Jesus lives in heaven and his response was, "I think he lives down because the tooth fairy lives up."
(Braddock age 3)

"I want to stay with you forever, I don't want to go anywhere else" (Braddock age 3)

When I do something that Braddock approves of, he tells me, "good mom good". I guess I've done good when I have received multiply good moms in a day. (Braddock age 3)

Braddock loves to learn, hiding from his mom, building things, and doing whatever his dad is doing. (Braddock age 3)

Bayes loves to wave, getting attention from everyone, and her pink polka dot blanket. ( Bayes 8 months)
